Prenatal & Birth Support

Birth is a sacred experience—a gift from the Divine.  Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood are powerful rites of passage. I am continually amazed by the birth process and find deep joy and fulfillment in supporting and nurturing mothers through this magical experience. 

My background in massage therapy and doula support allows me to care for mothers throughout pregnancy and during labor. I learned the practical art of supporting women through childbirth in the Massage Doula program at the Institute of Somatic Therapy, and deepened this work through the Sacred Birthing workshop in Maui, where I learned how to help create a more sacred and intentional birth experience. 

Giving birth with confidence begins with trusted support from an experienced doula. I have supported births in hospitals, birth centers, and home settings, assisting women through natural childbirth as well as births with pain management. My experience also includes twin births, lotus births, and water births. 

Araura’s background in massage therapy, along with the skills she gained through the Massage Doula program, helps alleviate many of the discomforts of natural childbirth. Partners often appreciate having someone else provide hands-on comfort so they can focus on offering loving emotional support.  Her sacred birthing training brings a deeper, more spiritual dimension to the birth experience. 

As your doula, I will support you in having the birth you envision, in the way you have chosen. If unexpected situations arise, I will be there to offer support and answer your questions so you can make informed, empowered decisions.
